Solutions

Satellites

Cyber-protected satellite systems equipped with electro-optical instruments, radar and laser transmitters for prominent international programmes for Earth observation, positioning and navigation, telecommunications and scientific purposes.

Interplanetary probes

Probes, landers and rovers used in the most important international space exploration programmes and missions make a major contribution to the study of the solar system and the universe.

Orbiting modules

Modular structures for space stations incorporating living space, infrastructure, telecommunications and supply functions. Through Thales Alenia Space, Leonardo built more than 50% of the living modules on the International Space Station and will be producing the modules for the future commercial space station and the station due to go into orbit between Earth and the moon.
